2010 CALENDAR

June 7 - Artist application deadline.

June 15 – July 15 – Jurying.

July 30 - Notification to Artists of Status - Invited, Not Invited or Wait Listed.

August 15 - Booth fees due and temporary vendor's license fee (if applicable).  Non-Louisiana artists are required by the City of Covington to purchase a Temporary Occupational License at the nominal fee of $10.  Louisiana artists are exempt from this provision by state law. A late fee of $25 will be required for booth fees postmarked after August 15, 2010. If booth fees are not received by September 1, the exhibit space may be sold to another exhibitor.

September 1 - Cancellation deadline is September 1, 2010. No refunds will be made for cancellations requested after September 1, 2010. Cancellations must be submitted to the festival in writing. A $50 administrative fee will be charged for cancellations requested on or before September 1, 2010, and refunds will be made within 30 days of receipt of written cancellation notice.

Friday, November 12

3p.m. - 6 p.m. - Artist Registration. Artists must register before beginning set-up.

4:30 p.m. - Set-up begins (after artist has registered).

6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. - Artists Welcome Reception

Saturday, November 13

6a.m. - 8 a.m. - Set-up continues. Artists must be completely set-up and booths staffed by 9 a.m. on Saturday.

8 a.m. - Three Rivers Run, 1 Mile & 5K Walk/Run (Race-day Registration begins 7 a.m.)

9 a.m. - Judging of festival artists begins promptly at 9 a.m.

10 a.m. to 5 p.m. - Festival open to Public

Sunday, November 14

8 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. - Artists Awards Ceremony

10 a.m. to 5 p.m. - Festival open to Public

3:15 p.m. - Student Art Awards presented on Children's Performing Stage

5 p.m. - Dismantling begins. Absolutely NO PACKING before 5 p.m. on Sunday.
